Embracing emptiness inside
the churning guts to fight
I'm reaching for eternity
I'm ready for it now

Life was a mere prelude
A detour in physical form
Time to detach and strive to be
A lotus, forever tanned by death

My life concludes, I have my roots
Shugendo and the great Kukai
My love for the mountains
The muses for a sage

The mind controls the path
My body marks the end
Enlightenment at last
By sculpted self-destruction

I'm reaching for eternity
I'm ready for it now

Towards Buddhahood in the flesh
End life in complete darkness
in supreme subliminity
transforming towards the spheres of eternity

A thousand days of slow starvation
rejecting further worldly needs
this ultimate act of self-denial
frees me from their tyranny

Increasing movement, excercise
until my every muscle cries
until my mass reduces
and I hear the voice of pain

Chewing the bark of trees
taking in most toxic teas
Becoming a poisonous shell
maggots it shall thus repell

I wither away in no man's sight
my self-chosen crypt, cocoon of death
and when the bell speaks silence
and they'll seal it airtight
